Setting the Stage
It feels good to be back in the trenches — this time as a builder.
With the market heating up again, I genuinely believe that building a project on Base right now is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Every day I wake up asking myself: “How do we make Topi the blue chip on Base?”
I’ve been diving headfirst into community building, marketing, and pushing Topi to the next level. I’m learning something new daily, while continuing to build my personal brand to gain more visibility and amplify our message.
What Went Down
I recently got access to the Coinbase Wallet beta and… wow. It’s going to be an absolute game-changer for anything Farcaster-native.
That experience confirmed it: building a mini app on the Purple App is the move. It’ll showcase Topi in a way that breaks through noise and builds brand awareness.
I even vibe coded for the first time and got it working!
Next goal: take it further and start evolving it into something meaningful.Started learning the terminal, explored Visual Studio, and even pushed my first test onto GitHub. Felt like a win just figuring that out.
We officially committed to building in public. Every Tuesday we’re hosting Topi spaces to bond with our community and share updates.
Lessons of the Week
Building in public works. You attract people who want to join the journey, not just the destination.
Farcaster + Coinbase Wallet will be the ultimate builder toolkit. Native experiences there will unlock a huge competitive advantage.
Sometimes you just have to get your hands dirty and try things (shoutout to my first successful vibe code experiment).
Cool Things I Saw + Learned
Base memes are dominating right now and rightfully so. But I believe when that run slows, liquidity will rotate into Base NFTs — and we’re positioning Topi to be ready.
We’ve got some tough decisions to discuss with the community:
Do we cut supply to make existing Topis rarer?
Do we keep minting and focus on growing holders?
Either way, I’m grateful to be building on Base and seeing how this ecosystem is evolving.
Builder’s Note
This week was a reminder: no one has it all figured out at the start. You learn by trying. You improve by doing. You build by showing up.
I’m more excited than ever to keep shipping, experimenting, and growing the Topi brand into something unforgettable.
